Excellent Before.......

We attended the Windsor Locks location for over a year and were very pleased with the center, the teachers and the Director. Although the facility is a little outdated, they offer great rates and lots of flexiblility in scheduling. The infant teacher is excellent and the owners are nice and listen to suggestions. Everythig was going well...... Then..... the Director left and communication started to decline. No more newsletter in our boxes, they told us they were transitioniong our daughter to another room the next day! No transition plan whatsoever, had not even met the teachers. I had to introduce myself to one and the other one I never met. We expressed our concerns and they corrected. Few weeks later, they changed that teacher to a different one. No meetings with the parents of the younger kids to review development, we had to ask for this ourselves. Finally heard one of the teachers yelling at one of the kids. Not correcting but yelling. With that we decided to change to a different center. We also had to point out dirty carpets and chairs in the Infant room which were cleaned once we mentioned. Spoke with the Directors on 3 occassions but many of the issues went unadressed or not addressed to our satisfaction. We would gladly go back if they improved on communication, development plans for the children, cleanliness and less transition of teachers & staff.

I have had six family members attend four different locations. All of them were exceptional. You could count on the cleanliness and devotion of the staff. I would recommend them to anyone.

Joni's Windsor Locks

My children didn't attend this location, but the one in Windsor Locks instead. I can name three very qualified dedicated staff members that my children loved. All other staff members came and went on a regular basis which made it difficult for my kids to adjust. Each morning they were recieved by a teacher who "had room" versus having one teacher and one group of kids to bond with. Although we stuck with it for a while, my husband and I decided not continue because we were able to find alternate care. It is certainly affordable and convenient and safe, but not a good match for a child who has difficulties adjusting to constant turnover.
